Jesus shows us the patience of God, the merciful Father who calls us even at the last hour, who does not demand perfection but heartfelt enthusiasm, who wants to open a breach in our hardened hearts.

Pope’s Eight Ideas on Old Age and the Destiny of Human Life, Expressed during Wednesday’s General Audience

“Let’s think of dialogue, of the alliance of the elderly and children, of the elderly with young people, and let’s not let this link be broken. May old people have the joy of talking, of expressing themselves with young people, and may young people seek out the elderly to draw from them the wisdom of life,” exhorted the Pontiff during his 17th catechesis on old age.

“Pope’s Visit to Ukraine Continues in Negotiation,” Says Ukraine’s Ambassador to the Holy See. Bucha on the Agenda

If a visit to Ukraine takes place, it is hoped that the Pope will go to Bucha, the city of the Russian massacre of Ukrainian civilians located close to the country’s capital.
