Restrictions Set to Limit Spread of Coronavirus

In consideration of the new restrictions adopted to contain the spread of the pandemic from Covid-19, as communicated by the Prefecture of the Papal Household, on  December 25, the Solemnity of the Birth of the Lord, Pope Francis will pronounce the Christmas message and impart the blessing “Urbi et Orbi” In the Hall of Blessings of the Vatican Apostolic Palace. On December  26 and 27, 2020, and January  1, 3, and 6, 2021, the recitation of the Angelus will take place in the Library.
