(ZENIT News / Vatican City, 11.26.2023).- On Saturday, November 25, the Pope announced appointments for one of the Dicasteries of the Roman Curia. These appointments involve new members for the Dicastery for Laity, Family, and Life, an entity of the Holy See headed by Cardinal Kevin Farrell.

The new members come not only from different parts of the world but also from diverse ecclesial backgrounds. They include:

– Archbishop Josep Àngel Saiz Meneses, Archbishop of Seville (Spain);

– Father Andrea D’Auria, F.S.C.B., Director of the International Center of Communion and Liberation;

– Father Luis Felipe Navarro Marfá, Magnificent Rector of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome (Italy);

– Mr. and Mrs. Benoît and Véronique Rabourdin, International Coordinators of Amour et Verité of the Emmanuel Community;

– Mr. Joseph Teyu Chou and Mrs. Clare Jiayann Yeh, respectively a Professor in the Department of Public Finance at National Chengchi University in Taipei (Taiwan) and Founder and Director of the Center for Marriage and Family Pastoral of the Regional Episcopal Conference of China;

– Professor Ana María Celis Brunet, President of the National Council for the Prevention of Abuse and Support for Victims of the Chilean Episcopal Conference;

– Professor Maria Luisa Di Pietro, President of the National Council for the Prevention of Abuse and Support for Victims of the Chilean Episcopal Conference;

– Mrs. Maria Luisa Di Pietro, Director of the Research and Study Center on Procreative Health at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome (Italy);

– Dr. Margaret Karram, President of the Opera di Maria (Focolare Movement);

– Professor Carmen Peña García, Professor of Matrimonial Law at the Faculty of Canon Law of the Pontifical Comillas University in Madrid (Spain).
