Pope Francis has remembered in prayer the victims of the attack on the Synagogue in Halle, Germany.
According to Vatican News, the Pontiff did so at the end of the 6th General Congregation of the Synod on Amazonia, when he opened the day of work praying for our “Jewish brothers on the day of Yom Kippur.”
As Jewish people observed the Jewish day of fast and expiation, on Oct. 9, 2019, which follows the Jewish New Year of Rosh Hashanah, an attack took place against the Synagogue of Halle, in Eastern Germany, leaving two dead.
