With an April 6 agreement signed in Hanover by the apostolic nuncio in Germany, Archbishop Jean-Claude Périsset, and the minister-president of Lower Saxony, Christian Wulff, the entities provided for certain modifications in schools and an increase in the number of students in some diocesan schools.
«The agreement modifies Article 6 of the annex to the concordat between the Holy See and the state of Lower Saxony,» a note today from the Vatican press office explained. «It regulates the juridical position of some Catholic schools run by the Diocese of Hildesheim, Osnabruck and Munich in that Land.»
