«A control X-ray was taken that showed the consolidation of the fracture,» said Patricio Polisca, the Pope’s personal doctor, in a statement published today by the Holy See Press Office. «The final result can be described altogether as optimum.»
An X-ray and checkup carried out July 25 in Aosta already showed a favorable evolution of the fracture.
