Pope Francis Greets Young People, Elderly, the Sick and Newlyweds

‘In this Marian month, imitate the zeal and missionary impetus of Our Lady; make yourselves heralds of Christ in every environment of your life’

“A particular thought goes to young people, the elderly, the sick and newlyweds.,” Pope Francis said October 9, 2019, during his General Audience in St. Peter’s Square. “These that are making noise are the newlyweds . . . I call them “’courageous,’ because you need courage to get married today.

“They are good! In this Marian month, imitate the zeal and missionary impetus of Our Lady; make yourselves heralds of Christ in every environment of your life.”
