During the General Audience of August 23, 2017, Pope Francis encouraged seminarians to pray the Rosary every day.

In fact, in the course of his greeting from Paul VI Hall in the Vatican, he addressed candidates for the priesthood taking part in a summer course of formation, those of Saint Philip Neri’s Oratory and those of Verona.

“Dear youths preparing for the priesthood, train yourselves henceforth to live the Gospel with an ardent missionary spirit and with a special attention in the service of the poor and the needy.”

“And do not fail to pray the Rosary every day,” recommended the Pope from a full heart.
