Vatican gives continuity to last synod: meeting of the Coordinators and Secretaries of the 10 Study Groups announced

The ten Study Groups are the fruits of the First Session of the Sixteenth Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops during which emerged various issues concerning the life and mission of the Church in a synodal perspective, and regarding which the Assembly consistently reached a consensus. Their matters require to be dealt with at the level of the whole Church and addressed with in-depth study.

Australian Government Appoints Keith Pitt as New Ambassador to the Holy See

The appointment has been met with strong support from the Australian Catholic community. Archbishop Timothy Costelloe, president of the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference, welcomed the decision, highlighting Pitt’s dedication to public service and his ability to navigate international diplomacy. «His experience and knowledge will undoubtedly serve him well in addressing the complexities of global affairs,» Costelloe remarked.
