The Prefecture of the Pontifical Household announced Pope Francis’ schedule for the month of August yesterday.

The Holy Father’s weekly General Audience will not take place in the month of August and will resume on September 4th. However, the Holy Father will continue to lead the weekly Sunday Angelus from the window of the Papal apartments.

Although the Holy Father will not stay at the Papal summer residence at Castel Gandolfo, he will celebrate the Mass of the Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary at the Parish of Castel Gandolfo which will follow with the recitation of the Angelus from the window of the Pontifical Palace of the summer residence.
