Sixty-Six Abortion Clinics Have Closed in the United States

(ZENIT News/ Washington, 12.10.2022).- Following the ruling of the U.S. Supreme Court of Justice, at least 66 abortion Clinics have closed totally or partially, reveals a Report of the Guttmacher Institute, a primary source of research and policy analysis on abortion in the United States, which operates with US$20 million annually at the service of death.

Twenty-six Clinics have closed completely and 40 have had to diversify their services. The Clinics are located in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia and Wisconsin. According to data published by the German newspaper Die Tagespost, 125,780 legal abortion were carried out in those States in 2020. It is foreseen that within the next nine months, 12 additional States will ban abortion.
