One expert is Legionary of Christ Father Edward McNamara, professor of liturgy and sacramental theology at the Regina Apostolorum Pontifical Athenaeum, who writes a weekly column for ZENIT’s English edition, in which he answers readers’ questions on the liturgy.
For his part, Benedictine Father Juan Javier Flores Arcas, president of the pontifical Liturgical Institute of Rome’s Athenaeum of St. Anselm, is giving ZENIT a series of interviews on the Eucharist, to prepare readers for the synod.
«The Eucharist: Source and Summit of the Life and Mission of the Church» is the theme of the synod. It will be held in Rome from Oct. 2-23.
