When I saw the headline I guessed correctly who the story was about. David Cheney is an amateur in the deepest sense of that word: a person voluntarily doing something he loves and doing it professionally. I came across his Web site five or six years ago, and as editor of www.misyononline.com I frequently go to it to check out facts or to do some “detective” work when a contributor gives some vague information about “Bishop Gomez in Argentina” or the like. David Cheney is a godsend to people who need to check facts about bishops and dioceses. May he continue his great work for many years. Thank you, ZENIT, for featuring him.
