The documentary, “John Paul II, the Man Who Has Taken the World into the Third Millennium,” was presented at the Argentine Theater in Rome.

The television production includes papal addresses and statements during international trips. It is the work of Italian journalist Alberto Michelini and was produced by Medusa Video.

When presenting the documentary, Joaquín Navarro-Valls, director of the Vatican Press Office, referred to the “reasons for hope” the Pope wishes to instill.

“We are living the history of a humanity redeemed by Christ,” the papal spokesman said.
