The Pope shared this confidence with youth at the end of today’s general audience. He concluded his weekly address with his traditional greeting to youth, the sick and newlyweds.

“Dear young people, to meet you is always for me a motive of consolation and hope, because your age is the springtime of life,” he said. “Be able to respond to the love that God has for you.”

The Holy Father encouraged the sick to find in the cross the strength for their trials.

And he invited newlyweds to gratitude.

“Dear newlyweds,” the Pontiff told them, “be grateful to God for the gift of the family: counting always on his help, make of your life a mission of faithful and generous love."
