Pope Francis encouraged newlyweds to «learn to pray together», in comments during his August 30, 2017 weekly audience in St. Peter’s Square.
Speaking to newlyweds, the Pope said they should «learn to pray together», in their «domestic intimacy», resulting in love that is «always more true, fruitful and lasting.”
As summer vacations end and young people return to usual activities, he urged them to continue to pray: «be able to find every day time for your dialogue with God and to spread His light and peace around you.»
He also recommended prayer to those who are sick, say they will «find comfort in the Lord Jesus, who continues His work of Redemption in the life of every person.»
