In recent days, at the request of pro-life members of the US Congress, the Government Accountability Office (GAO), the Federal Administration’s transparency office has had to publish the latest series of data, which shows the amount of public financing given to Planned Parenthood and other international abortion organizations. The GAO Report was requested for the first time at the beginning of 2022 by 142 members of Congress, headed by Tennessee’s Republican Senator, Marsha Blackburn, and New Jersey’s congressman Chris Smith, who expressed their concern over the use of contributors’ money to finance abortion services.
Between 2019 and 2021, Planned Parenthood in the USA received US$1,780 million in subsidies of the State budget, namely, of contributors. The Congress called for GAO’s reports on the public financing of Planned Parenthood since 1994. Over the last 29 years, American contributors have had to pay at least US$7,900 million for Planned Parenthood’s abortions and its administration of transgender medications, puberty blockers and irreversible surgeries. Since 1994, when GAO began to publish its reports, Planned Parenthood received US$163 million a year and carried out about 9% of all abortions in the US. Now it receives thousands of millions and carries out more than 40% of all the abortions in the country, becoming progressively an industry of public ownership that dominates the barbaric market of the killing of innocents. In 2021, Planned Parenthood had 567 installations, of which 391 carried out abortions, which now surpass the number of installations engaging in surgical abortions.
In 2021, American contributors paid an average of US$ 1.4 million for every Planned Parenthood center carrying out abortions in the whole country. Despite the numerous initiatives to limit the Federal financing of the abortion industry under the Trump Administration, Planned Parenthood still collected over US$550 million every years between 2019 and 2021, a mountain of money that, however, seems to be a crumb compared to the financing that the Biden Administration is granting these abortionists every year. One of the most important political victories of the Trump Administration, among the many in favour of the life of the unborn, was the “Rule for the Protection of Life,” which interpreted correctly
Title X’s family planning statute to demand a complete physical and financial separation between Title X clinics and abortion centers.
However, there was a marked increase of Medicaid financing by the Department of Health between 2020 and 2021, due to the greater involvement of Planned Parenthood in COVID-19 services, and the increase of the Federal contribution for Medicaid, established by the Cares Law, in response to the pandemic. According to the GAO Report, some US$90 million was withdrawn from Planned Parenthood in loans contracted during the COVID-19 pandemic. These loans were supposed to be granted to small companies of up to 500 employees but, curiously, they were also granted to Planned Parenthood, which instead has over 16,000 employees through its affiliates in the U.S. and worldwide.
Overall, the Biden Administration increased the financing of Planned Parenthood by some 373% compared with the Trump Administration, according to the data of the GAO Report, and in 2021 it also revoked a rule of the Trump Administration, which impeded foreign organizations from using funds for abortion services. In addition to Planned Parenthood, five other abortion providers, among them Marie Stopes International Reproductive Choices, received hundreds of millions of financing for their murderous activities. While favouring the murderous abortionists, sponsors of his own party and of his own campaign, Biden is making a lot of money to accumulate an important source of support in face of the forthcoming elections in 2024, not only are pro-life pregnancy centers not financed and are combated, but in addition the Federal Government keeps an iron control over the culpable and the physical threats of violence and vandalism that pro-life centers and churches are enduring, while every week new and disquieting details arise, regarding the FBI’s decision to infiltrate Catholic communities and comb the faithful in the catechism of the Church.
Finally, the silence of devout Catholic Joe Biden is astonishing given the U.S. Episcopal Conference’s request for aid, since last month, also in a letter to Congress, of at least US$200 million in Federal funds to support improvements in the security of places of worship and other non-profit organizations. Thousands of millions for those that kill innocents and a few million, perhaps, for those that save mothers and babies?
