(ZENIT News / Washington, DC, 12.08.2024).- On August 6, Kamala Harris, candidate for President of the progressive Democratic Party of the United States, announced that Tim Walz, Governor of Minnesota,  will be her running mate and, hence, the most radical candidate to the Vice-Presidency of the country.

1st His Origins

A native of Nebraska, he moved to Mankato, Minnesota, after meeting his wife, Gwen, with whom he has two children. Both were secondary school teachers. It was in that period as teacher that he began to support the gender ideology cause. He was elected Governor of Minnesota in 2018, and re-elected to that office in 2022.

2nd Woke, Progressive and Ultra Leftist

Walz has the support of the most leftist and progressive wing of the Democratic Party: from Nancy Pelosi to Bernie Sanders (currently an Independent).

3rd In Favour of Abortion Including in the Ninth Month of Pregnancy

Walz supports the abortion of babies in the ninth month of pregnancy. In fact, in 2023 he promulgated a law that permits the murder of a nine-month baby in the maternal womb. The law is called Law of Protection of Reproductive Options (PRO), and it became a fundamental right in the State’s legislation. The Law includes the impossibility of parents of minor girls finding out if their underage daughters have had an abortion or not. Polls in the State of Minnesota showed support for abortion but not unlimited abortion or at all stages. During Walz’s government, babies born alive after an attempted abortion, were abandoned to their fate, eliminating the notification requirements. In fact, since Walz’s government, it’s no longer obligatory to have a register of babies born alive.

4th Violator of Religious Liberties

Walz has several lawsuits for violations of religious liberty: the majority go back to the period of the pandemic as, although concentrations were permitted in other places, they were prohibited in churches. In 2020 he was sued by the Thomas More Society. He also refused the funding of programs in religious schools, which gave free credits to students. In 2023 he signed a law that excludes students of the Church’s schools from free University credits.

5th In Favour of the LGBT+ Agenda  and Child Mutilation

Walz supports the hormonal change of underage boys who feel they are girls, including genital mutilation surgery that, by nature, is of an irreversible character. As Governor, this support became an executive order.

6th Lutheran

Walz is of the Lutheran religion, a progressive branch of Protestant Christianity where at present anything goes. In fact, it’s regarded as the most liberal denomination of American Christianity. 20% of Minnesota’s population is Lutheran. It’s known that Walz attends the Christmas religious services in the Pilgrim Lutheran Church in St. Paul.

7th Pro Muslims

Given that Minnesota has a considerable Muslim population, Walz has been very “flexible and understanding” with them. He recurrently attends events organized by the Muslim community.
