The Easter season had an extra moment of joy when Pope Francis greeted his predecessor, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.
According to a note from the Holy See Press Office, the Argentine Pontiff visited the Pope Emeritus at his residence, Mater Ecclesiae monastery in the Vatican gardens on Tuesday afternoon to offer Easter greetings.
