The Mass was presided over by Cardinal John Baptist Wu Cheng-chung, bishop of Hong Kong, and concelebrated with Coadjutor Bishop Joseph Zen Ze-kiun, Auxiliary Bishop John Tong Hon and 45 local priests.
The Hong Kong Diocese organized an exhibition of paintings and published a book on the significance of the history of this canonization, which was bitterly criticized by the Chinese government. The martyrs were killed between 1648 and 1930.
