The «Time of Hope» exhibit will be the last edition of «The Ages of Man» series. The exhibit runs from Sept. 27 to Nov. 24 in St. John the Divine Episcopalian Cathedral.

Close to 100 works of art from Castile and Leon will transmit the Gospel message of hope.

The Romanesque-period works highlight the divinity of Jesus, who reigns from the cross and from his Mother’s arms. The Gothic works, with the exaltation of pain, depict Jesus’ compassion for people. The Renaissance, from within the most classical culture, proposes Christ as the sculpture and measure of man. Baroque works will also be displayed.

«The Ages of Man» exhibitions were initiated by the bishops of Castile and Leon to evangelize through Christian culture. The shows have attracted millions of visitors in Spain and the Netherlands.
