The Vatican’s semiofficial newspaper noted than an online Chinese version of canon law is now available, and that additional texts from the Second Vatican Council would become available in that language in the coming months.

The Holy See launched the Chinese section of its Web site over a year ago, which includes both traditional and simplified Chinese characters.

In March, the Holy See added the Catechism of the Catholic Church to the Chinese section. Earlier additions to the site have included the Bible and various documents from the Second Vatican Council.

The Web site of the Holy See is currently available in eight languages: Italian, English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Latin and Chinese.
