126,000 Expected at Mexican Youth Pilgrimage

.- About 126,000 young people are expected this Saturday to attend the 18th Youth National Pilgrimage to the Mountain of Christ the King, in Silao, Guanajuato.

They will gather to witness to their faith and commit themselves to forge a «civilization of love» in Mexico, said José Pedro Cortes Xiqui, president of the Witness and Hope Movement, at a press conference Tuesday.

Cortes said that youth from all over the country are expected to participate. The ceremony will begin at 4 a.m. Saturday, and the ascent of the Mountain of Christ the King at 9 a.m., he added.
