Sources of the Latin Patriarchate in Jerusalem said the procession Tuesday will include some 100 cars. They will enter Bethelem in the morning and will go to the square of the Nativity, where the religious leaders will gather in prayer.

After the prayer, patriarchs and Orthodox, Catholic, Anglican and Lutheran bishops, among others, will meet with the local people.

It was not yet known if Israeli authorities would grant permission for the procession.
