This year, the Dutch priest, of the Society of the Divine Word, is celebrating the golden anniversary of his priestly ordination.

In recognition of his work, the seminaries of Rolduc (in the Diocese of Roermond) and Willibordhuis (Diocese of Haarlem) are honoring him with a book, with a prologue by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger.

The book, entitled «Indubitanter ad Veritatem,» includes articles by Father Elders in English, Spanish, German, French and Italian, as well as a bibliography of thousands of titles. In addition to his Thomist studies, Father Elders has spent his life forming seminarians.

The Web page E-aquinas says the book may be acquired by writing to professor J. Vijgen at jorgen.vijgen@skynet.be.

A professor in Japan and Rome, Father Elders is a member of the Pontifical Roman Academy of St. Thomas Aquinas, and a visiting professor at a number of Thomist centers.
