No one has been formally accused in the attack, which also claimed the life of a Muslim policeman who was standing guard in front of St. Dominic´s Church in Bahawalpur. Six gunmen are sought in the case.
22 Detained in Pakistan Probe of Massacre
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, OCT. 31, 2001 (Zenit.org).- A total of 22 people have been detained in connection with the investigation of last Sunday´s massacre of 17 Christians in a church in eastern Pakistan, the regional police reported today.
