I just don’t understand how someone can be attracted to the Faith, convert and still support the policies that are so directly opposite of what the Faith teaches. If what we learn of him and his wife, Cherie is true then they are so confused about Catholicism. But I can’t hold them responsible for the confusion. It had to be what they were taught and maybe by whom. As so often happens, the Faith attracts, but the teachers distort.
