Nigeria: Christian killings ‘go on and on’, no arrests or consequences for terrorists

Father Lubo stressed that these atrocities should be investigated, and authorities should identify “the perpetrators of these evil acts” – but arrests are rare, and those in positions of power seldom have the willingness “to say what’s going on”. He added that Nigerian authorities are not doing anything to help the thousands of Christians in the region who have been displaced after surviving terrorist attacks.

Towards a Schism Over the Liturgy? Syro-Malabreses Throw Eggs at Pope’s Delegate

The point of conflict continues being the compromise solution between the different forms used previously, adopted by the Syro-Malabar Synod in 2021, which establishes that the Celebrant must go up to the altar during the central moment of the liturgy. The overwhelming majority of the clergy of Ernakulam-Angamaly, which constitutes the largest Archdiocese of the Syro-Malabar Church and embraces a tenth of the faithful, reject this solution.
